NBA 2K24 Bonus: Guide to All Rewards and Promotions in the Philippines

Types of NBA 2K24 Bonuses Available in the Philippines

NBA 2K24 includes several game modes: MyCAREER, MyTEAM, MyNBA, Play Now and The W. Most bonuses are tied to MyCAREER and MyTEAM. Players earned them through gameplay, optional purchases or limited-time promotions. Here are the main types of nba 2k24 bonus content:

These bonuses add variety to the game, but they are in-game items only. They have no real-money value. For active locker codes and promotions, the official 2K social channels are the only reliable source.

Many bonuses depend on an internet connection and 2K servers. On PlayStation, online play also requires PS Plus. Crossplay between PS5 and Xbox Series X|S was another online feature. As of October 2026, the official site lists online modes as unavailable. Offline modes such as Play Now, MyNBA and The W are still playable, so bonuses tied to online modes may no longer be usable.

How to Claim MyTEAM Packs and VC Bonuses

These steps show how claiming MyTEAM packs and a VC bonus worked while servers were online. Use them as a reference, because the menus below now depend on services that are offline.

1. Create or log in to your 2K Account via portal.2k.com, or set up an NBA ID via nba.com. Our page on NBA 2K24 account registration covers both options.
2. Launch NBA 2K24 on your PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch or PC.
3. Go to MyTEAM or MyCAREER from the main menu.
4. Check the MyTEAM Pack Market or the "Bonus" section in MyCAREER for packs, VC or code redemption.
5. For locker codes, open the "Locker Codes" menu under MyTEAM or MyCAREER and enter the code.

Locker codes came out from time to time on official NBA 2K social media and expired quickly. In-game purchases are optional, though they offered extra packs. As of October 2026, these online features are listed as unavailable. Offline modes like MyNBA still run without servers, but check official channels before you expect any current promotion to work.

Step-by-Step: Entering Locker Codes

Redeeming locker codes took less than a minute when the service was live:

1. From the main menu, select MyTEAM or MyCAREER.
2. Find the "Locker Codes" option. It usually sits in the Community Hub or Extras area.
3. Type the code exactly as shown, including dashes and capital letters.
4. Confirm. Rewards such as player packs, VC or consumables arrived instantly.

Each code had a usage limit and an expiry date, so old codes from forums often failed. Following @NBA2K on social media was the fastest way to catch new ones.

NBA 2K24 Special Edition Bonuses and Promotions

NBA 2K24 launched on September 8, 2023 for PS4 and PS5, and on September 7, 2023 for other platforms. Alongside the standard version, 2K offered premium editions such as the Kobe Bryant-themed Black Mamba Edition. These special edition bonuses often included MyTEAM packs, VC and cosmetic items.

Redemption was usually simple. Digital buyers received the content through their platform store. Physical buyers found a code inside the game case and entered it on their console or PC store. The bonus content was one-time use and linked to the account that redeemed it, so you could not share it or claim it twice.

Players in the Philippines can buy editions from authorized retailers or official digital storefronts. Buying from unofficial sellers risks getting a code that was already used. In-game purchases remain optional, and the base game works without any edition extras.

Keep in mind that packs and VC from special editions were designed for MyTEAM and MyCAREER, which now rely on offline servers. Edition contents also varied by version and platform. Check the exact contents at purchase and confirm current availability with official sources before paying extra for bonus content.

Maximizing MyCAREER Endorsements and VC Earnings

MyCAREER endorsements were one of the steadiest ways to boost VC earnings while online services ran. Here is how the system worked:

1. Progress through MyCAREER by playing games and growing your player's popularity.
2. As your star rating rises, companies offer endorsement deals.
3. Negotiate contracts to earn VC per event or per milestone.
4. Complete endorsement objectives, such as wearing specific shoes or scoring a set number of points, to receive bonus VC.

This is a purely in-game system. Endorsements pay virtual currency inside the game, not real money, and they cannot be cashed out.

The situation changed in 2026. According to the official site, since January 1, 2026, online features that need 2K servers are unavailable. That list includes MyCAREER, MyTEAM and earning VC. So endorsement deals and VC earnings through MyCAREER are no longer something players can count on.

You can still enjoy single-player basketball. The W remains playable offline, though it focuses on a WNBA career rather than the NBA MyCAREER path. MyNBA lets you manage a franchise across seasons, and Play Now covers quick matches. These modes do not offer the online VC rewards described above, but they give you plenty of offline gameplay without depending on servers.

Understanding Online Service Limitations for Bonuses in 2026

As of October 29, 2026, the official NBA 2K24 site states that online features requiring 2K servers have been unavailable since January 1, 2026. This covers MyCAREER, MyTEAM, earning VC, multiplayer, Online Leagues and community sharing. Most of the bonuses in this guide sit inside those features.

In practice, bonuses tied to online modes may no longer be accessible. That includes MyTEAM packs, locker code rewards and VC earned through online play. Do not buy the game or a premium edition expecting these extras to work.

Offline modes are a different story. Play Now, MyNBA and The W are still playable without 2K servers. Anything you unlock or progress within those offline modes stays usable there.

How to Download NBA 2K24 and Access Bonuses in the Philippines

NBA 2K24 is a paid title on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. Getting it installed takes a few steps:

1. Open the official store for your device: PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Nintendo eShop or Steam for PC.
2. Buy and download NBA 2K24.
3. Launch the game and follow the on-screen prompts to create or link a 2K Account.
